Counselling

Support, Clarity & Perspective

Are you seeking a confidential space to pause, reflect and reconnect with yourself.

When life feels demanding, finding space to step back and reflect can be difficult.

You may be managing a demanding career, significant responsibilities, relationships, family commitments or a period of change. From the outside, things may appear to be going well, while internally you may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected or simply unsure of what you need.

You don’t have to wait until things become unmanageable before seeking support.

I offer confidential online counselling, providing a calm and thoughtful space where you can step away from the demands of everyday life, make sense of what you are experiencing and consider what you want moving forward.

With over 10 years of experience as an Integrative Counsellor, I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental approach, tailored to your individual circumstances.

Take the first step and arrange an initial consultation today.

A Space Away From Expectations

When you are accustomed to being capable, dependable and responsible, it can be difficult to acknowledge when you need support.

You may find yourself constantly thinking about what needs to happen next, carrying responsibility for others, or putting your own needs to one side.

Perhaps you are experiencing:

  • Persistent stress or anxiety

  • Feeling emotionally or mentally exhausted

  • Difficulty switching off

  • Pressure to maintain high standards

  • Loss of motivation or enjoyment

  • Uncertainty about your direction or identity

  • Difficulties within relationships

  • A significant career or life transition

  • Questions about what you want from the next stage of your life

or sometimes there is no obvious crisis

You may simply sense that something needs to change.  Counselling can offer the time and space to explore that feeling.

Thoughtful, Individualised Support

I work integratively, drawing on different therapeutic approaches according to your individual needs and circumstances.

Our work is collaborative. Rather than providing a prescribed solution, I offer a space where we can explore your experiences, relationships, patterns, beliefs and emotions with curiosity and without judgement.

Together, we can develop a deeper understanding of what may be affecting you and identify ways forward that feel meaningful and authentic to you.

There is no expectation that you arrive knowing exactly what you need. We can begin wherever you are.

Experience & Professional Practice

I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor with over 10 years of experience.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a Practitioner Member of the Black, African and Asian Therapy Network (BAATN).

My professional experience includes:

Understanding Identity, Culture & Lived Experience

I grew up in the UK and come from a multi-ethnic background.

I recognise that our sense of identity is shaped by many influences, including culture, family, relationships, community, expectations and lived experience.

For some people, these experiences can bring complex questions around belonging, identity, expectations and how we navigate different parts of ourselves.

I am committed to creating an inclusive and respectful therapeutic space where these experiences can be explored openly and without judgement.

Your background, perspective and story matter.

What We Can Explore

Counselling can be helpful at many different points in life.

Our work may include exploring:

Stress & Anxiety

Understanding persistent worry, overthinking, pressure and difficulty switching off.

Work & Burnout

Exploring boundaries, expectations, perfectionism, exhaustion and the impact of demanding environments.

Identity & Belonging

Making sense of identity, culture, relationships, expectations and belonging.

Life Transitions

Finding clarity during periods of change, uncertainty or transition.

Low Mood & Emotional Wellbeing

Understanding changes in mood, motivation, confidence and enjoyment.

Bereavement & Loss

Having space to process grief, change and significant loss.

Self-Esteem & Confidence

Exploring self-criticism, perfectionism, confidence and the expectations you place upon yourself.

Personal Growth & Self-Understanding

Developing greater awareness of yourself, your relationships and what matters to you.

Confidential Online Counselling

I offer flexible online counselling, allowing you to access support from wherever you are.

Online sessions can provide a practical and private way to prioritise your wellbeing alongside your existing commitments.

I work with clients internationally, excluding the USA and Canada.

Make Space for Yourself

You may be accustomed to looking after responsibilities, solving problems and being there for others.

Counselling offers something different.

  • A space where you can slow down.

  • A space where you don't need to have the answers.

  • A space to reflect, understand and reconnect with what matters to you.

If something in your life no longer feels quite right, you don't have to work it out alone.

Testimonials

“I would highly recommend counselling with Naomi. Having a dedicated safe space where I could discuss and work through my thoughts and feelings was invaluable in getting me through the worst of it.

Also being of non-white heritage, I didn't have to explain the nuances of being an ethnic minority in the UK.

Naomi has been supportive and incredibly insightful, helping me relearn how to prioritise myself in extended times of crisis." Michael

"I would recommend Naomi to someone else for counselling. She has helped me massively to work through some of the difficulties that were presenting for me in my life. Particularly around boundaries both professionally and personally."  Nadia

"Naomi listened and was non-judgemental in her approach, I felt heard and understood. My thoughts and feelings were validated. I appreciated the time to focus on me and saw sessions helped me to verbalise and make sense of internal thoughts in a way I had not done so before. Although I regularly came to sessions ‘unprepared’ I always had something to say and left sessions feeling emotionally lighter."  Leah

" Naomi was incredibly supportive at one of the most difficult times of my life.  I always felt supported even if things were hard to face. I  gained useful tools and skills to work on my relationship to myself and others."  Gayle
